Building on the experience gained through our sister company, Stadium Seating Enterprises, Inc. (SSE), Geofoam International was established as a worldwide distributor of EPS and XPS products in 2015 to bring the experience of our project management and engineering staff, as well as and our extensive network of EPS Molders located throughout North America to General Contractors, Subcontractors and Owners seeking specialized applications for lightweight fill material.
Unlike Stadium Seating Enterprises, which specializes in using Geofoam for stadium seating applications, Geofoam International (GI) is focused on the use of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Geofoam, Styrofoam™ and Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) to contractors seeking an innovative, inexpensive, and versatile building product for a wide range of lightweight fill uses in construction. These include building drop slab applications, landscaping and vegetative green roofs, retaining wall backfill, slope stabilization, road and airfield pavement stabilization, railway track systems, bridge abutments, refrigerated storage building slabs, sports arenas and storage tanks, noise and vibration damping and many more uses.
The owners of GI have provided Expanded Polystyrene Geofoam for projects in 46 US States, Canada, Central America and the United Kingdom totaling more than Eighty Five Million Board Feet of foam. The key to our success is our in-house estimating and engineering staff and our extensive and highly collaborative “partnering relationship” with key EPS molders throughout the world. We can provide uncut or precut Geofoam “Building Blocks” to virtually any location in the world through our network in a timely and cost efficient manner.
Please review the information contained on our website where we will highlight the various applications for Geofoam, compare and contrast the various EPS and XPS alternatives and provide technical data for your engineering team. We pride ourselves on being responsive to your needs and questions and providing our products at the most cost competitive prices in the industry.
