For the recently completed Mission Rock project in San Francisco, Geofoam International provided EPS blocks that played a pivotal role in the site’s development. Geofoam was chosen for its lightweight properties, reducing overall load on the underlying soil and enabling efficient, stable construction over challenging terrain. This choice allowed for faster installation, minimized settlement issues, and provided long-term support without the need for extensive ground reinforcement, making it a sustainable and cost-effective solution for the project’s unique structural demands.
